Al-ḥamdu-lillāh,a number of student apply each year for admission to AES School for Girls. Admissions normally open for Montessori Reception and Class 1. Admissions to other classes are subject to seat availability, number of applicants and applicants who qualify.
Registration for admission tests open in January for all available classes and parents are encouraged to enquire and register early to avoid missing out as we have a number of students vying for a limited number of seats. Admissions tests are conducted in March and April and admissions are completed and closed by May. Parents interested in admissions after May can enquire about any available seats through the school office.
Admissions Tests & Interviews are conducted for all classes except Montessori Reception (Interview only). Both parents have to be present at the time of admission/interview and the school reserves the right to refuse admission to any student not fulfilling our admission criteria.
Following documents are required at the time of admission; parents are advised to ensure completion of their child’s documentation before applying as admission may be denied and offered to another candidate in case of failure to produce all documents* on time.
- 4 passport size color photographs of applicant student (Must be recent)
- Photocopy of NADRA issued Birth Certificate of Student.
- School Leaving Certificate. (Not applicable for Montessori Reception)
- Copy of Vaccination Card (Child must be fully vaccinated as per Govt. Health Dept. protocols)
- CNIC Copy of both parents.
* The school may also require additional documents.
The child applying for admission to Montessori Section classes has to be between the respective age groups mentioned below when the academic session commences in August each year
- Montessori Reception (2.5 – 3.5 Years)
- Montessori Junior (3.5 – 4.5 Years)
- Montessori Senior (4.5 – 5.5 Years)
Please be advised that although there is no age restriction or condition for appearing in any Primary, secondary or higher level exams, these age brackets are to ensure the appropriate class age group and ratio is maintained. The school reserves the right to deny admission to any student not fulfilling its age criteria.
After admission tests have been conducted and results declared. Parents of successful applicants will be issued admission forms alongwith payment dues. Your child’s admission will only be confirmed upon successful completion of all documentation and payment of school dues within the stipulated time. Applicants who fail to complete the admission process on time shall be denied admission and the seat shall be offered to the next eligible student.
Students have to pass the admission test and interview to be eligible for admission. No exceptions. Siblings of existing students are given preference over new applicants only if they pass the admission test and interview as required for any other applicant.
